After years of experience anchoring the evening news at WNEP-TV, I have now developed my own multimedia agency and am reaching out to businesses, organizations and agencies, to inform you of the services I offer that may be of benefit to your organization’s media and community relations.  The knowledge I’ve gained from years of experience in front of the camera can help you effectively deal with almost any public relations situation and maintain a positive community image.  I would also be interested in any permanent position you may have in the media/community relations field.  Here are some of the many services my multimedia agency can provide to your organization:
Public & Media Relations:

  • Consultation services on how to handle the media
  • Provide talking points on how to get your message across to the media
  • News release writing and distribution

Crisis Management:

  • Advice and consulting services in the event your business faces a crisis that attracts negative media attention
  • Provides you with specific examples, talking points and suggestions on what to say, what not to say, and how to respond to the media during a public relations crisis situation
Media Training:

  • Provides on-site instructional seminars to teach management and staff at corporations, businesses or other agencies how to handle media interviews.   Hands-on instructions include actual television interviews of your staff that are reviewed on-screen and critiqued

Other Services:

  • Producing, writing and/or appearing in corporate videos for use on the web or in social media
  • Producing, writing and/or appearing as talent in commercial announcements for television, radio and/or social media
  • Newsroom consultant for both print and electronic media with a focus on reporter training and coaching
  • Guest lecturer on media issues

Looking forward to talking with you about any of these services and any additional consulting or permanent media services you might need.

Best regards,

Marisa Burke
